Mr. Markham Strickland (formerly Welsh) age 53 years, passed away on Tuesday, February 8, 2022. Markham was a lifelong resident of Thunder Bay, born on July 8, 1968. Markham enjoyed; Baseball, softball and other athletic activities prior to his illness as he was an avid athlete. He received an award from the city due to his community beautification service and passion in cleaning up the streets. He also loved to learn and read about many different activities. Markham will be lovingly remembered by his son Devin, his sister Corinne and brothers Terry and Ronny. A funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 in the chapel of Sargent and Son Funeral Home, 21 N. Court Street with Rev. Jari Lahtinen officiating.
