EGGERT, Terry Robert – Peacefully at home with his wife, daughter and grandchildren by his side on Saturday, February 12th, 2022 at the age of 67 years. Terry Eggert of Pembroke, beloved husband of 49 years to Catherine Eggert (nee Gendron). Loving father Lori Ann (Kerry) Watson. Proud grandfather to Bailey Hammel (Elizabeth Baulne) and Shannon Hammel (Alex Boudens). Survived by his brothers of Garry, Stephen and James. Sadly missed by his little fur baby Murphy. Predeceased by parents Arnold and Joyce Eggert (nee Condie) and by sister Jayne Eggert. Terry opened his own business “ Eggert’s Auto Service” in April of 1982. He took great pride in his work and always strived to be an honest, fair, hardworking businessman. Terry was an avid hockey player in his day and loved his Montreal Canadiens. Terry and Cathy enjoyed traveling together enjoying many sunny destinations and traveling across Canada. He also loved music and could make that ol’ accordion sing. Terry shared his talent with many crowds over the years. He also played guitar and sang which was lovingly a shared passion with his daughter Lori. He always had a smile to share and a witty sense of humour which he maintained even through his final days. Respecting Terry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. on Sunday, February 20th, 2022 from 1-4 p.m for a celebration of life. A special thank you to Dr. Uttley and Nurse Melanie Kidd-Smith from Bayshore for the excellent care and compassion extended to Terry and Cathy. As Terry supported many local causes in the community, in lieu of flowers any expressions of sympathy can be donated to the Robbie Dean Family Counselling Centre or the The Grind or Pembroke.
