Estelle Margaret McGee
1937-2022
Estelle Margaret (Steele) McGee, 84, of
Villa Du Repos, Moncton, NB, passed away peacefully on Thursday,
February 10, 2022.
Born in Deep Brook, NS, Estelle was
predeceased by her parents, Charles and Marie Celina (Doucet) Steele,
her cherished husband, Duncan, as well as her sisters, Gloria,
Willetta, Rose, Celina, June, and her
brother, Charles Elton.
Estelle is survived by her loving children,
son, Kenneth of Dunlop, NB., daughter, Catherine Doiron
(Larry), of Moncton, NB., daughter Colleen MacLeod (Gary
Squires) of Lakeville-Westmorland County, NB., as well as her
grandchildren, Erica, Brennan,
Kelsey, Michaila and Tristan, and
her great grandchildren, Derek and Hannah.
She is also survived by her sister her brother Joseph
Steele (Judith) of Middleton, NS.,and her sister Dellis Belliveau of
Dieppe, NB. She is also survived by many nieces,
nephews, and loving brothers in law and sisters in
law.
Estelle adored her family.
Nothing brought her greater joy than spending time with
her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They were the “Bushels
and the Pecks” that lit up her life.
As per Estelles’ wishes, there
will be no viewing. Cremation has taken place, and a
Catholic mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Church, 43
Botsford St., Moncton, NB on Monday, February 14, 2022 at 1:00
pm. For those attending the service, a photo ID and proof of
double vaccination will be required upon entry to the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations to New
Brunswick Alzheimers would be greatly appreciated.
A very heartfelt Thank You goes out to all
the nurses and careworkers in Unit 500, and all staff at The Villa Du
Repos for their compassion and care towards our
Mom.
