Obituary of Harry Blain Lawson
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Blain Lawson, on February 7, 2022 at the age of 68, surrounded by loving family at the London Health Sciences Centre.
Cherished husband, best friend, and Sweetheart of Chrisie (DeBruyne) Lawson for 43 wonderful years.
The best Dad to Brandon (Diane) Lawson, Tierney (Owen) Blythe, and Stefanie (Steve) Yeoman.
Amazing Grampy to Jackson and Brielle Lawson, Amber, Austin, and Aiden Blythe, and Baby Yeoman coming in May.
Predeceased by his parents William and Margaret Lawson and in-laws Willie and Leta DeBruyne, brother William, and brothers-in-law Joe Kominek and Tom Lassaline.
Survived by siblings Nancy Kominek, Tom (Norma) Lawson, Margaret Lassaline, and sister-in-law Pat Lawson.
Brother-in-law to Connie and Bill Sloan.
Survived by many nieces and nephews.
Harry lived and farmed his whole life in Zone Township and will be greatly missed by many friends and neighbours.
Cremation has taken place. The Lawson family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, those hoping to attend the visitation must schedule a time online at signup.com/go/XyaZcxi or phone 519-695-2716. The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated that everyone attending must wear a mask. A private family funeral service for Harry will be held from the funeral home and streamed live at www.livememorialservices.com/Home/ServiceDetail/19780 at 2:00 pm on Saturday with Rev. Steve Filyer officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Harry can be made in support of the London Health Sciences Foundation Cardiac Patient Care, Heart Transplant Patient Care, or your local animal shelter.
