Kimberly Kathleen “Kim” Dean
May 11, 1965 ~ February 6, 2022
Surrounded by love and family, Kim passed peacefully on Sunday, February 6, 2022 in Saskatoon, SK.
Left to cherish her memory the love of her life Patrick White; her precious daughter Shaelyn; stepchildren: Rubin (Nadine) Harmoney and Abel, Cora Lee; mother Doreen Dean; sister Novalea Fahl; niece Deanna (Dustin) Benjamin, Alexander, Ashton and Keira; sister-friend Karen and Kevin Duchscherer, Veronika and Zachary; in-laws Debbie (Bill), Wendy (Fred), Miles (Charlene), Dean (Dianna) and their families; also, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Kim was born on May 11, 1965 in Prince Albert to Oreland and Doreen (Lang) Dean. She graduated from St. Mary High School, continuing her education at the University of Regina in Social Work. She began her chosen career at the P.A. Boys Therapeutic Group Home until its closure. She then moved to the Prince Albert Youth Residence. Through Kim’s work, she gained many lifelong friendships.
Kim loved family time which included visiting, games, teasing and a good joke. She loved planning and cooking for special occasions.
Summers were spent camping at her “Happy Place” on the Lang Homestead with family around and dropping in for coffee.
Kim was predeceased by her father Oreland Dean; brother-in-law Patrick Fahl; grandparents George and Kathleen (Anderson) Dean, Wildrew and Margarent (Brown) Lang; in-laws Robert and Joyce (Adams) White; and numerous other family.
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 11, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 452 30 Street East, Prince Albert, SK. Interment will be held at a later date. In memory of Kim, donations may be made to The Lung Association Saskatchewan, 2308 Arlington Avenue, Saskatoon, SK S7J 3L3 or STARS Donation, 1441 Aviation Park NE, Box 570, Calgary, AB T2E 8M7. Services will be live streamed.
