Raymond Pruner Wednesday February 2nd 2022

It is with heavy hearts and much love that the family of Raymond John (Jack) Pruner announce his passing on February 2, 2022 at the age of 82 years.
Jack passed peacefully in his home with the love of his life, Peggy, by his side. He struggled with a difficult recovery for the past 4 years while extending strength, pride and love to all who knew him.
Jack and Peggy were married for 63 years while raising their 2 daughters, Debbie (Conrad) and Janet in their home on King Avenue in Newcastle. He worked for General Motors for over 34 years and retired in 1998.
Jack was a classic cowboy who loved his country music. He never gave up on the Toronto Maple Leafs and enjoyed his Nascar collection. Jack loved his community, his friends and most importantly his family. His greatest gift to us was his love. He never failed to tell us and we loved him in return.
Jack leaves to mourn with loving memories his beloved wife Jean Mary (Peggy) Pruner and 2 daughters; Debbie Cormier and Janet McCormack. He has 6 grandchildren: Jessica (Nick), Nicole (Joe), Kimberlee (Josh), Colton (Amy), Jamie (Shayne) and Shane (Jessica) and 10 great grandchildren: Hudson, Aubree, Hayden, Madison, Jayden, Sadie-Rae, Brynlee, Sawyer, Benjamin and Aislee. Jack is survived by his siblings David (Donna), Sharon, Larry (Wendy), and Alice (Jerry) as well as brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins. He is predecessors by his parents Raymond and Margaret Pruner and sister Linda Pruner.
As per Jack’s wishes no service will take place. If so desired memorial donations may be made to the Lakeridge Health Foundation.
