It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Ethel “Ruth” Newton on Saturday, February 5, 2022 at the Rocky View Hospital in Calgary, at the age of 89 years.
Ruth will be sadly missed by her son, Dan (Lisa) Munro of Lacombe; son, Fred Munro of Lacombe; daughter, May Munro of St. Paul; and daughter, June Munro of Vancouver. She will be lovingly remembered by numerous grandkids and great grandkids; nieces and nephews; as well as many close friends. Ruth was predeceased by two daughters, Naomi English and Pearl Noiles.
A gathering of family and friends will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Ruth may be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
