Passed away peacefully on February 4, 2022 at 75 years of age, surrounded by his family. Beloved husband to Olga Mitrovic. Proud father to Rada and her husband Edward Muxlow, and Danny and his wife Jodi Mitrovic.
He was a very proud and involved Deda. He adored his grandchildren Ethan, Erik, Eli, Nico, Nolan, and Niya.
Deda had nicknames for each of the grandchildren, loved telling jokes and was a master of satire, always getting a laugh out of his audience. Deda enjoyed playing chess, showing the kids how to fish, and would often quiz the kids with math questions. Deda enjoyed his talks with the grandchildren and spoke of sports, politics, or any news of the week. Deda was always ready to go! He could always be seen on the soccer field, at the rink for the hockey games, or any other family event. It didn’t matter what he was doing, he would drop everything and show up ready to cheer for his family. Deda was an incredible cook and would often show up at the house after preparing one of his fantastic meals.
Deda will be truly missed. The legacy and mark he left will keep his spirit alive in all of us.
