Bernadette was a long-time resident of Hespeler and lived in the same home for 63 years. Bernadette will be fondly remembered as the secretary at Our Lady of Fatima School.
She was a long-standing member of St. Mary of the Visitation Church, was very involved with the CWL and was a loyal member of the choir for many years. Bernadette volunteered for many years at Cambridge Memorial Hospital, a service she greatly enjoyed.
Her passions included reading and she was never without a murder mystery by her chair in the sunroom. Bernadette’s second pastime was cards. She and Fred had their morning crib game and many euchre get togethers with friends.
Special thanks to the nursing staff at Grand River Hospital and staff at Hospice Wellington.
The family will receive friends and relatives at Lounsbury Funeral Home, 1766 Franklin Blvd., Cambridge on Wednesday, February 9th from 2-5 pm and 7-9 pm.
