Obituary
It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Violet Blanche (Hanson) Cyr of Woodstock at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Thursday February 3, 2022 at the age of 85.
Violet was born on April 23, 1936 to the late Murray and Agnes (Johnson) Hanson in Deer Lake NB.
Besides her parents, Violet was predeceased by her husband Leo Cyr, Sisters Eveline McLaughlin, Eileen McLaughlin, Bertha Wright, Brothers Keith Hanson and Donald Hanson and special friend Douglas Morehouse.
She is survived by one Sister Ethel Fullarton and sister in law Frances Cyr, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins and chosen family, the Morehouse Family.
Visitation will be held on Monday February 7, 2022 from the Carleton Funeral Home from 12:30 to 2 PM. Funeral Service will follow at 2 PM at the Funeral Home Chapel.
Due to the Covid regulations, proof of both vaccinations and an ID must be presented, masks must be worn and social distancing mu be followed.
Interment will be in the Benton Community Cemetery in the spring.
If so desired donations to DunRomin Stray and Rescue, Heart and Stroke or Cancer Support or to a charity of Donor’s Choice is recommended.
