It is with great sadness that the family of the late Rayfield Hancott announce his passing on Wednesday February 2, 2022 in Noggin Cove, NL at the age of 69 years.
He was predeceased by his parents Malcolm & Olive Hancott.
He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Barbara; son Justin (Christina) of Noggin Cove; daughter Amy Hancott of Carmanville; 2 precious grandsons: Gabriel Hancott of Noggin Cove, D.J. Hancott of Carmanville; his little princess granddaughter Aribella Hancott of Noggin Cove; 6 sisters: Alma Hart, Joyce Blake of Georges Point, Betty Troke (Calvin), Helen Hodder of St. Johns, Mae Harris (Alvin) of Harris Point, Daphne Hodder (Stering) of Davidsville; 2 brothers: Melvin (Maxine) Frederickton, Winston of carmanville; special niece Caren Hancott and many other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends.
Family will be receiving friends at Stacey’s Funeral Home, Carmanville on Sunday February 6th, 2022 from 1:30-5:00 p.m. in compliance with current government guidelines and restrictions Vaxpass must be presented and masks must be worn during visitation. Funeral service will take place on Monday February 7th, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from The Salvation Army Citadel, Camrnaville with interment to follow at the church cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Rayfield’s memory may be made to The Salvation Army, Carmanville.
