Obituary of Rosemary Hunt
Rosemary passed away peacefully at the Grey Bruce Health Services in Owen Sound, on Tuesday, February 1st, 2022. Born on September 22nd, 1942, Rosemary Helen Hunt (née Schmidt) of Owen Sound, was in her 80th year. Dearly loved wife of the late Paul Hunt. Loving mother of Dan Hunt (Ahir), of New York City and Jason Hunt (Patricia), of Ottawa. Very close and dear friend of Kim Dzyngel, of Tara. Dear sister of Betty Donnelly (Maurice) of Walkerton, Maurice Schmidt of Hollywood, Murray Schmidt (Mary Lou) of Kitchener and John Schmidt (Patti) of Walkerton. Remembered by her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Jerome and Helen Schmidt and her son, Carl Hunt (2018).
A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosemary Hunt will be held at St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 554 15th Street East, Owen Sound on Saturday, February 5th, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. with Father Wojciech Kuzma officiating. All attending the funeral must wear a mask and follow social distancing protocols. Spring interment in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs.
