We regret to announce the death of Fernand Savard at the age of 81 years, on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Sensenbrenner Hospital. Fernand was a great hunter and fisherman, who enjoyed spending time at his hunting cabin. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren who kept him going, especially his little sunshine, Emma.
He leaves to mourn his children: André (Lise) of Cochrane, Jeanne D’Arc Bergeron (Mario) of Harty, Jean-Marc of Harty, and Christine Savard of Hearst; seven grandchildren: Brittany, Amy, Matthew, Meagan, Tiffany, Dylan, and Cody; and ten great-grandchildren: Félix, Ryan, Emma, Émilie, Mélanie, Kloe, Makayla, Kameron, Serenity, and Aries. He was predeceased by his wife, Solange; one son, Fernand Jr.; one granddaughter, Stéphanie; six brothers: Joe Bedard, Patrick Savard, Charles Savard, Théodore Savard, Fred Savard, and Roger Savard; and two sisters: Marie Beaulne and Enid Leblanc.
Cremation has taken place at the Guenette Crematorium. The family would greatly appreciate donations to the Sensenbrenner Hospital Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy. ©
Nous regrettons de vous annoncer le décès de Fernand Savard à l’âge de 81 ans, le mardi 1 février 2022, à l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner. Fernand était un amateur de la chasse et de la pêche, et adorait passer du temps à son camp de chasse. Il adorait de tout cœur ses petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants qui étaient sa joie de vivre, surtout sa petite Emma était son rayon de soleil.

Il fut prédécédé par son épouse, Solange; un fils, Fernand Jr.; une petite fille, Stéphanie; six frères : Joe Bedard, Patrick Savard, Charles Savard, Théodore Savard, Fred Savard, et Roger Savard; et deux sœurs : Marie Beaulne et Enid Leblanc.
La crémation a eu lieu au Crématoire Guenette. La famille sera très reconnaissante de dons à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner ou la Société canadienne du cancer comme témoignage de sympathie. ©
