Obituary of Daryl Toles
It is with heavy hearts, and profound sadness, that we announce the passing of Daryl Toles of Camrose, Alberta on January 29, 2022, at the age of 66 years.
Daryl was born on August 24, 1955, in Quill Lake, Saskatchewan; growing up in Saskatchewan provided the foundation for his enduring love of the Prairies. As a young man, Daryl moved to Alberta where he met the love of his life, Debbie. The two settled in Tofield shortly after their marriage and raised two children; his family was his greatest pride and joy. Following Daryl’s retirement, he and Debbie embarked on multiple journeys south, which enabled him to fulfill his passion for watching MLB Spring Training while relaxing in the warm weather. Daryl was known for being an incredibly social and kind man who formed countless strong friendships on both sides of the border.
Daryl will be lovingly remembered by his wife Debbie; children Bryan (LeAnna) and Trina; grandchildren Myah, Cohan, Adia, and Ila; siblings Greg (Carol), Brent, and Cheryl (Stuart); numerous nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Gordon and Ingrid.
A celebration of Daryl’s life will take place in the spring.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camrose Kids Sport or the St. Mary’s Hospital Foundation Palliative Care Fund.
