Barry Wayne Robinson August 25th 1944 January 30th 2022

It is with extreme sadness that the family of Barry Robinson announce his peaceful passing at Bluewater Health Sarnia in the presence of his loving family.
Born in Winnipeg to the late William (Bill) Robinson and Ruth Irene Corner, Barry moved to Saskatoon in 1954 and later graduated from the University of Saskatchewan as a Chemical Engineer. Barry’s entire career was spent with Imperial Oil where lasting friendships were forged with dear colleagues.
Barry is survived by his wife Marilyn and children Carolyn Nazareth (Andrew), their children Evan, Nathan and Dylan; Joel Robinson and his daughter Lia; Daniel Robinson (Candice). Also by his step-children Alexandra Swire, her son Shane MacDermid and Brandon Swire (Tracey) and their daughter Sophie.
Also mourning his loss are his siblings, Gerry Robinson (Joan), Frank Robinson (Linda) and Lee Mckee (Wayne) along with many nieces and nephews.
In 2006 Barry retired as Manager, Sarnia Refinery and he and Marilyn happily chose Sarnia to be their home. Barry enjoyed lakeside living, golf, woodworking, travel and the company of friends and family.
The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Dr. Michael Stoesser and to Barry’s nurses and staff in the Med G and Palliative Care units at Bluewater Health Sarnia.
Family and friends will be invited to a celebration of Barry’s life in August 2022.
Sympathy may be expressed through donations to Bluewater Health Foundation (cheques only at the funeral home, please). Arrangements entrusted to Smith Funeral Home, 1576 London Line, Sarnia.
