Ambrose (Krishna) Harripersad
December 8, 1947 – January 28, 2022
Ambrose was born in Rio Claro, Trinidad to Basmatia and Harry Persad. He and his 5 brothers and sisters lived a life surrounded by friends and family.
In 1970 he emigrated to Canada and began a long career in the financial and legal world that would continue until his passing.
Ambrose was a loving family man who would often call just to say he was thinking of you. He was wonderfully charismatic, confident, and his offbeat sense of humour was one of a kind.
He is survived by his loving wife, Elaine; His children, Lisa, Keith, Melissa, Nicole, Kristen, and Jaclyn; His nephew, Renzie, and niece, Reanna who loved him like a father; His sister, Helen; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, Bailey, Jonah, Hayden, Marlee, Dylan, Tyler, Hunter, and Spencer.
Ambrose will also be sadly missed by: Shireen, Sharon, Mikayli, Cameron, Nathan, Amelia, Olivia, Jason, David, Rachel, and Deborah.
While he had his own large family, he was family to many friends and colleagues as well.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the Canadian Diabetic Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Ambrose has left a void in the lives of everyone who has known him and will be greatly missed. Rest in peace.
