Klaas van den Oever Thursday January 27th 2022

Klaas van den Oever passed away on January 27, 2022 in Didsbury, Alberta. Born and raised in Holland, Klaas finished his education and served, in the Dutch army. Klaas met and married Johanna Koster in 1974 and they had two children Nicole and Michael. In 1982 they immigrated to Alberta Canada and settled in Crossfield. In 1985 their third child Wesley was born. Klaas dreamed of owning his own business and they opened Hocan industries in 1987 and ran a successful business until they sold it in 2007. Klaas and Joanna travelled extensively in their motorhome and overseas and enjoyed their vacation property in Montana. Klaas is survived by his wife Johanna; his three children and his grandkids; Nicholas, Emma, Hailee, Ryker, Karter and Noah. Klaas will be greatly missed by his friends and family. A private service will be held Saturday February 5, 2022.
