Gladys Emma Collins, age 88 of Hare Bay, NL passed peacefully away on 26 January 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Gladys is predeceased by her parents, William and Florence Burton, and brothers, Maxwell and Robert Burton.
Left with many fond and loving memories are her husband and best friend of 64 years, Christopher; children ~ Viona, Myra (Almo), Truman, and Justin (Melissa); grandchildren ~ Kathryn, Ashley, Alexandra, Noelle, Michaela, Daniel, Christopher, and Samuel; great-grandchildren ~ Parker, Zane, Wyatt, Carey, and Denver; siblings ~ Donald (Eileen), Edna, Jessie, Joyce (Stewart), Fred (Sue), Phyllis, and Ronald (Phoebe) as well as a large circle of extended family and friends.
Visitation at Oram’s Funeral Home, Dover, NL from 2 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, 29 January 2022 following modified Level 4 Covid Protocols.
Funeral Service by invitation only will take place at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Hare Bay, NL at 2 p.m. on Sunday, 30 January 2022 with Rev. Hannah Dicks officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery, Hare Bay.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, Hare Bay, The Alzheimer Society of Newfoundland and Labrador, or a charity of your choice.
