It is with broken hearts we announce the passing of a loving father, grandfather, son and brother; George Keeping of Brigus passed away surrounded by his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital after a brief but courageous battle with cancer on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at the age of 61 years.
He leaves to mourn with precious memories his daughter, Kimberly (Matthew), son: Brandon, grandson: Rylan, granddaughter: Adeline, girlfriend, Colleen ,father: George Sr, brothers: Perry (Helen), Dale (Elizabeth), nephew; Curtis, nieces: Juilann, Christina and Cathy.
Predeceased by his son: Michael Keeping, Mother: Cynthia Keeping, grandparents: Thomas and Margaret Spracklin, John and Lillian Keeping.
Resting at Broughton,s Funeral Home, Brigus with visitation on Friday, January 28, 2022 from 10-12 P.M., 2-4 P.M. & 7-9 P.M.
Funeral to take place on Saturday, January 29, 2022 from the Anglican Church of The Resurrection, South River.
Cremation to follow with inurnment to follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Brigus at a later date.
Proof of vaccination and government issued indentification will be needed for visitation.
