Larry Edwin Dunham, age 80, of Stratford passed away peacefully at Rotary Hospice on December 28, 2022. Born in Owen Sound, son of the late Ed and Grace (Vokes) Dunham.
Larry is survived by his wife of 48 years Linda (Lichti). Father of Liz Paton (Jeff) and Stephanie Dunham (Trevor) and grandfather of Leif. Brother to Brad (Wendy), Brian (Jane), Greg, Lois Gunn (Bob), Michelle Rouse (Mark) and Jamie. Brother-in-law of Ken Lichti – deceased (Anne), Keith Lichti (Monica), Donald Lichti – deceased and Bonnie Locher. Lovingly remembered by his special nephew Devin Locher (Justine) and many other nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by his father-in-law and mother-in-law Nick and Verna Lichti.
Larry worked as a teacher at King Lear Public School for many years. Larry travelled the world with his wife Linda visiting places like Australia, New Zealand, Europe, California, taking river and ocean Cruises and making lifelong friends with fellow travelers along the way.
Family and friends are invited to a service for Larry at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Monday, January 2, at 11 a.m. (Livestream available on funeral home website) A time to reflect and visit with the family will follow in the funeral home reception centre.
