Peacefully, in her one hundred and first year, on Thursday, December 29, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Sam. Devoted mother and mother-in-law of Henry and Anne Kolatacz. Cherished grandmother of Samuel and Oliver. Dear sister and sister-in-law of the late Felicia and the late Archie Harper; sister-in-law of the late Masza and the late Haskel Wolf, the late Eliezer and the late Eva Kolatacz, the late Helen and the late Adam Kolatacz. Sophie will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by Roman and Lily Wolf, Jerry and Rona Maisel, Katia Zimmerman and the late Adi Eisenberg, Elliot Eisenberg, Ruth Harper, Sabrina and Itai Pashtun and Jenna Harper, as well as by all who knew and loved her. Graveside service on Monday, January 2 at 10:00 a.m. at the Beth Aaron Congregation Section, Kehal Israel Cemetery, D.D.O. Shiva strictly private. Donations in Sophie’s memory may be made to Canadian Friends of the Hebrew University,(514) 932-2133.

    I cannot express how sorry I feel for your loss. I had the honor to meet your mother when I visited you in Montreal. She was so nice to me and I will never forget her face and her positive and kind character.
