Lorna, our beautiful Mom and Grandma will be lovingly remembered by her four children, Andrew Treich, Laurie (Jim) Odland, Janet Levy and Nancy (Darren) Wessely, as well as her eight grandchildren, Becky (Steele) De Paoli, Chris (Beau) Brown, Tegan, Reed and Quinn Odland, Ariele Levy, Moriah (Francois) Lavallée, and Asher Levy. She also leaves behind her four (soon to be five) great-grandchildren, as well as her daughter-in-law, Carol Robertson. Lorna was predeceased by her parents Alfred and Mathilda Clark. She was their cherished only child.
Lorna had many fond childhood memories watching Expo games with her Dad, and of summer trips to Old Orchard Beach. As a young woman she enjoyed travelling from Montreal with her friends to cities like New York and Calgary. She spent many wonderful times at her beloved St. Stephen’s Anglican Church. Lorna worked for both the Canadian National Railway and Shell as a comptometer operator and she had fun explaining what that meant to her grandchildren. In retirement she enjoyed camping with her companion Milt, chatting with her neighbours at Polo Park over her bottomless cups of coffee, travelling to different places by cruise ship, and most of all, spending time with her children, grandchildren and many dear friends.
Lorna’s faith meant so much to her. She was active in the A.C.W., Altar Guild and she volunteered her time through the church with her wonderful friends in High River. We can take comfort knowing she is at peace surrounded by God’s great glory.
Many thanks to Dr. Mazloum, all the doctors and nurses at the High River Hospital, and the staff at both the Medicine Tree Manor and The Tudor Manor for the exceptional care and kindness shown to her over the past few years.
Lorna will be dearly missed and always remembered with great love.
At Lorna’s request a private family funeral was held on December 27th, 2022.
