Obituary
It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Bruce Mathew Rodgerson which occurred peacefully at his home on Tuesday, December 20th, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. Born 1943, in New Brunswick, he is the son of the late Edgar and Jenny (Jones) Rodgerson. Bruce worked for the City of SJ at the City Works Garage on Rothesay Avenue throughout his career. He was a handyman who enjoyed fixing old cars as well as hunting and fishing.
Bruce is survived by his loving and devoted wife Judith (Garnett) of 50 years; sons Dave Rodgerson (Pepper) of Willow Grove, Dennis Rodgerson of Garnett Settlement; daughter Joyce Rodgerson (Scott Goguen) of Willow Grove; sisters Donna Cyr of Baxters Corner, Hazel Rodgerson of Baxters Corner, Alice Kennedy of Grand Lake; grandchildren Alyssa, Emma, Jenny, Cameron, Christopher; great grandchildren Jaxtyn, Liam and Kaysen; as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Along with his parents, Bruce was predeceased by his siblings Billy, Doug, Isabel, Leonard, Edna, Shirley and Laura.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (646-2424) with visitation being held on Wednesday, December 28th from 12 to 2 p.m. A Memorial Service will follow in the chapel beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory of Bruce may be made to the ALS Society of to the charity of the donor’s choice.
