Obituary of John Thomas Kingdon
It is with saddened hearts that the family of John Thomas Kingdon announce his passing on Friday, December 16, 2022 in his 94th year. John was first and foremost a loving husband and a devoted father. John married the love of his life Theresa 72 years ago. His gentle nature and loving personality nurtured a family of 7 children, 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. John was a dedicated employee of Stelco for 43 years. John is survived by his loving wife Theresa, children Susan (late Paul), Robert (Monica), Kevin (Liz), Glenda (late Daniel), Janice (Ian), Sheila, Brian (Renelle) along with all his beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue Drive, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Vigil prayers 3 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Xavier Church, 304 Highway 8, Stoney Creek on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 700 Chapel Hill Rd., Stoney Creek.
