White, Colin
November 11, 1951 – January 24, 2022
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Colin White at the age of 70 years. Colin was born in Edmonton, Alberta to Nettie and Cyril White who have predeceased him. Colin was a man of many talents and after earning a living as an Urban Planner and Land Development Consultant in various municipalities in British Columbia and Alberta he enjoyed being able to focus on his artistic talents when he retired. Throughout his life he also enjoyed rock climbing, ice climbing, skiing, windsurfing, motorcycle riding/building, and photography.
Colin leaves to mourn his wife, Elke of 41 years, and his daughter Kirsten (Nick).
Colin has requested there not be a formal funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Colin’s name to the Cochrane Humane Society www.cochranehumane.ca; Stars Air Ambulance www.stars.ca; or Alberta Heart and Stroke Foundation www.heartandstroke.ca.
