Eleanor Mary Milks
October 25, 1922 – December 14, 2022
The family of Eleanor Milks (nee. Forsyth) is saddened to announce her passing on December 14, 2022, at the proud age of 100. Beloved wife of Gerald E. Milks (de. 2004), loving mother of Stephen (de. 1951), Barbara (Robert Proulx), Bruce (Carol), foster mother of Stephen Sauve (Cathy), and daughter-in-law Jayne Delery. Loving grandmother of Len Vaisanen (Jennifer), Averleigh (Heath Freeman), Joey Milks (Sabrina), granddaughter-in-law Patti Vaisanen, and extended grandmother of Jason and Christine. Proud great-grandmother to Isobel, Emma, Hudson, Hendrik, Jacob, Tristan, Ava, and extended great-grandmother of Kayla, Emily, Victoria, and Olivia.
Eleanor was born and raised in Ottawa and leaves behind a legacy from her many years of volunteering including over 40 years with Christ Church Cathedral and St. Vincent’s Hospital. Eleanor loved animals, travelling, and participating in bridge clubs. She will be missed dearly by friends Shirley Kent, Sheila Ruban, Judy Hunter, and Garth Hampson.

Celebration of life to be held on Wednesday December 21st, 2022, at 11am at the Tubman Funeral Homes – Garden Chapel, 3440 Richmond Road (Between Baseline and Bayshore).
