1933-2022
Carol Marguerite (Colpitts) Lowerison,89, of Riverview passed
away peacefully Thursday December 15, 2022 at the Moncton Hospital
with family at her side.
Born in Colpitts Settlement N.B. she was a daughter of the
late A. Russell and Geraldine (Fulton) Colpitts.
Carol trained as a Medical Laboratory Technologist and worked
at the Moncton Hospital before starting a family. She enjoyed travel,
hikes in Fundy Park, outdoor activities, lobster dinners and playing
cards with family and friends. Carol was multi talented from sewing,
to baking to mowing acres of grass.
Survived and sadly missed by her daughters Judy O’Keefe
(Con), Jayne Hlady (Ron) and Jennifer Lowerison (Steve Beaumont),
cherished grandchildren Daniel, Lauren, Denys, Mariah, Julia and
Michael. Survived also by her sisters Pauline Lewis, Pearl Colpitts
and Lillian Forbes; her sister in law, Karen (Ron) Gill and by many
nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by her beloved
husband Bliss A. Lowerison, sisters Barbara Downing and Sandra
Atkinson and brothers Stanley and Max Colpitts.
Arrangements are in the care of the Salisbury Funeral Home
and Crematorium (372-4800). At Carol’s request there will not be any
services. A private interment will be held at a later date
at Colpitts Memorial Gardens, Colpitts
Settlement.
