It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beautiful brightest light, Savanna Alivia Lynn Gervais. Savanna was born April 11,2018; she was our dream come true. Our perfect baby girl. January 15, 2020, our world crashed when we learned she had an aggressive form of cancer and she fought relentlessly for almost 3 years. On November 2, 2022, we were informed her cancer was back with a vengeance and she was terminal. We moved to hospice care for 17 days until she succumbed to her disease on November 19, 2022, at 4:15am with Mommy, Daddy, her siblings Emma-Lee, Brendon (Toni) and Riley (Emma), as well as her Auntie Carol and Auntie Sheena by her side. She leaves behind so much family, Mom, Dad, Siblings’, Grandparents and a whole community of people who loved her and admired her strength and courage. Savanna taught us all how to live life to the fullest and appreciate the little things. In lieu of flowers, we appreciate any donations made to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation. Just weeks before we learned Savanna was terminal, she did the “Small Is Mighty” Campaign with the BCCHF, a charity that is very near and dear to our hearts! We love you Nana Bear, always and forever to the moon & back! You will always be our sunshine.
