Miller, Raynor “Ray” Kenneth
It is with great sadness that the family of Raynor Miller announce that he passed away peacefully at the hospital on Thursday December 8, 2022 in Ottawa, ON. Raynor is survived by his wife, Jean; his two children, Jeff and Julie (Paul); and two granddaughters Kayla and Sara; his sister, Gayle (Dennis) and predeceased by his brother, Bruce (Kip).
Raynor was born in Buckingham, Quebec to Frank & Dora Miller. Following a successful scientific career from 1956 to 1993 with the Department of National Defence, Raynor enjoyed his retirement by spoiling his two beautiful granddaughters; by pursuing his love of the outdoors through fishing and hunting with his buddies; by partnering with friends or family in a rousing game of cards; or by taking the wheel on road trips with his faithful wife navigating the way.
A celebration of life will take place sometime during the Summer of 2023. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Queensway Carleton Hospital Foundation or the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Canada.
