Obituary of Ernest Wiebe Doerksen
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Dad, Ernest.
He died on December 1, 2022, at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, MB, with his oldest son Larry and oldest daughter Alvina by his side. He spent most of his last nine months in the hospital due to multiple health issues.
Ernest lived in Steinbach for many years working for Barkman Concrete as a maintenance man. He loved his job and always gave it his best. He also loved to travel to Paraguay where his parents moved from when he was very young. Growing up in a jungle in South America, must have been some adventure.
Join us his eight children, Larry, Jack, Alvina, Lottie, Robert, Wes, Gladys and Marcia on Thursday, December 15, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson “In the Park” Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Blvd., Winnipeg, MB.
Remember him with us, grieve with us, as Ernest goes to Heaven.
