It is with heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of David Roy Taylor on November 15, 2022 in Vernon, BC. He is survived by his two daughters Tamie (Steve) and Jodie (Graham) and four grandchildren Venty, Marley, Rowen and Ava. He is predeceased by his parents Richard and Violet Taylor. In David’s earlier years, he spent his time travelling around the globe and visited over 75 countries by the time he settled in the Okanagan in 2013. The last handful of years David enjoyed and got great fulfillment from volunteering his time at the Vernon Alliance Church non-profit organization; Common Threads, where he helped to feed and clothe many people in need in his community. There was nothing David was more proud of or loved more than what he referred to as “His Little Family”. He spent many days and countless hours with them in the past few years. He loved to cook and lead a very healthy lifestyle of exercise and clean eating. Not to mention the occasional cheat day of fish and chips. He will be deeply missed and forever loved by all his family and friends. This is not goodbye, but byesie bye for now. There will be a Celebration of Life service date and time to be announced. Donations may be made in David’s memory to the V.A.C Common Threads.
