RICHIBOUCTOU-VILLAGE, NB – Normand E. Richard 78,
of Shediac, formerly of Richibouctou-Village, NB passed away
peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Thursday, December
1, 2022. Born in Richibouctou-Village, he was the son of the
late Edouard Richard and late Claudia (Richard) Richard.
Before retiring, Normand was employed as a plumber at Kent
Homes. He was an honorary life member of the Knights of
Columbus Third Degree.
Normand will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 56 years,
Stella (Richard) Richard of Shediac; one daughter, Murielle Richard
(Claude) of Fredericton; one son, Laurie Richard (Roberte) of Moncton;
four precious grandchildren, Danica, Yannick, Mélanie
(Tyson), Jérémie (Siggy) and two great
grandchildren, Dominic and Adèle.
He is also survived by one sister, Odette Osborne (late Eric)
of Ottawa; one brother, Ola Richard (late Dinah) of Toronto and many
nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by one brother,
Gerald.
Visitation will be held at Thompson’s Funeral Home
in Richibucto beginning at noon on Wednesday until time of the
service. A Funeral Service will be celebrated on Wednesday,
December 7, 2022 at 2:00 pm, Thompson’s Funeral Home Chapel,
Richibucto. Donations in Normand’s memory may be made to the
NB Heart & Stroke Foundation. The family wish to
sincerely thank the doctors and nurses at the Saint John Regional
Hospital Dept. 5A North CCU for their kind and compassionate care of
Normand.

Thompson’s Funeral Home in Richibucto
