It is with great sorrow that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at the age of 93 years. Son of the late Alexandre and late Ida May (née Prudhomme) Trottier. Beloved husband of Gilberte (née Prudhomme) Trottier. Loving father of Pauline Robitaille (late Gérard), Gisèle Lebreton (Brian), Rachelle Duclos (late Gérard), Nicole Hazen (Charlie), Noëlla Vachon (Ronald) and Patricia Szlagowski (Glenn). Predeceased by his son Gérald Trottier (Rachel) and his daughter Muriel McDonald. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by many 14 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. He will also be sadly missed by many brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Henry and Gilberte were happily married for 72 years. Their happiest time together was when they were in the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Every summer you would find them at Grassy Lake. Dad really enjoyed the Montreal Canadians. He never gave up and always believed this was the year they would win the cup. He enjoyed his vegetable garden. That was his happy place where he relaxed. Dad was a hard worker, he retired from Falconbridge with 22 years. Dad loved his family dearly. He was a great dad. He will be sadly missed.
