Jean-Paul Hachey 1934 2022

Obituary of Jean-Paul Hachey
It is with immense sadness that we announce the death of Jean-Paul Hachey on Monday, November 28th, 2022, in his home surrounded by family. Born on April 30th, 1934, he was the son of the late Anthime and Anna (Theriault) Hachey.
Jean-Paul will be missed by his children, Joanne (Dave) Harlow, Betty-Anne (Derrick) Carnahan, and Paul (Tammy) Hachey; his nine grandchildren, Stephanie, Abby, Tabatha, Richard, Alec, Jennifer, Monique, Matthew, and Derrica; four great-grandchildren, Joseph, Anna, Mackenzie, and Gerrit, as well a sister, Irene (Vincent).
Jean-Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was certainly proud of the life he built with his wife, and cherished his family above all else. Jean-Paul will be fondly remembered by all those who he loved so unconditionally.
He is predeceased by his loving wife, of almost 60 years, Corrine, as well as 6 siblings, Lionel, Alcide, Lucienne, Evelyn, Reginald, and Regine.
At this time the family would like to send their heartfelt thanks to Dr. Stairs and to the staff of the extramural program in Oromocto, most notably Michelle, Wendy, and Kate-Lynn for the exceptional care provided to him during his time of need.
At the request of Jean-Paul and his family there will be no visitation. There will be a private funeral for family. For those who wish, contributions could be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to the New Brunswick Lung Association on behalf of Jean-Paul.
