MacDonald Bernard Hugh – November 26

The death occurred peacefully with family by his side at the Souris hospital of Bernard Hugh MacDonald of Monticello, aged 76. Survived by his loving wife Jennie, and son Jason (Shannon) as well as his grandchildren, Jane, Luke and Melody. Also survived by his sisters, Pauline Carter, Phyllis MacDonald, Mary Flynn, Donna MacLeod (Peter), Barb O’Hanley, Eileen Cameron (Glen); by his brother Wayne MacDonald (Loretta) and by his brother-in-law, George MacPhee; extended members of the Doucette family as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Hugh and Mary Jane MacDonald; his siblings, Dot O’Hanley (John Joe), Gladys MacPhee, Donnie MacDonald, John MacDonald (Peggy); and brothers-in-law, Henry Carter and John Flynn. There will be no visitation by personal request. Funeral mass will take place, Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:00 am at St. Peter’s Bay Roman Catholic Church, St. Peter’s Bay, PE. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. If desired, memorial donations in Bernard’s memory may be made to St. Peter’s Bay Cemetery Fund. To send the family a condolence, please see below.
