Therese Belcourt (Ouellette)
It is with great sadness the family announces her death, Friday, January 21, 2022 at the Maison McCulloch Hospice at the age of 93 years. Daughter of the late Esther Ouellette (née Carrière) and the late Fabien Ouellette. Wife of the late Léo Belcourt. Beloved mother of Claude (predeceased) Colette Fraser, Gaetan (Suzanne), Colette Salemink (Tom), Denise Paquette (Gilles), Raymond (Cami), Gisele (Al Ramsay). Dear sister of Gérard (Murielle). Predeceased by her brothers and sisters; Toussaint (late Rhéa), Cyprien, Joseph (late Marguerite), Jeanne D’arc (late Oscar), Léandre (late Lina), Delphis (late Thérèse), Arthur (Roséline), Lionel (Auraldine), Léa (late Léonard), Henri. Cherished Grandmaman of 15 Grandchildren; Stéphanie, Matthew, Daniel, Lyne, Kim, Chad, Stéphanie, Jean-Francois, Janelle, Jasmine, Devon, Rose, Luana, Courtney, Brooklyne. Sadly missed by her 8 Great Grandchildren: Ryan, Caleb, Isaak, Samuel, Benjamin, Zachary, Safia, Henry. Her greatest passion was gardening. She loved to be surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her famous tourtiere and her homemade pickles and preserves. Heaven gained an angel. Visitation at the COOPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 4570 St. Joseph Street, Hanmer on Sunday, January 30, 2022 ,from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Service will be held at Ste Marguerite d’ Youville Church, 4290 Regional Rd 80, Val Thérèse, Monday, January 31, 2022 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers donations to Maison McCulloch Hospice or to Paroisse Notre Dame du Rosaire towards the funding of an elevator. www.cooperativefuneralhome.ca
