Glenister, Douglas of Singhampton passed away at Campbell House Hospice, Collingwood on Thursday, November 24, 2022 in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Lila Glenister. Dear father of Loni Earhart(Tim) of St. Thomas, Steven Glenister of Calgary and step-father of Jason Cole(Camisa) of Hamilton, Sondra Burton(Tim) of Orangeville, Alison Cole(Vince) of Alberta. Loving grandfather of Nathan(Melanie), Jessica(Mark), Samantha(Matthew), Elijah, Alice, Quinn and Hannah. Proud great-grandfather of Max, Tanner, Riley, Kade, Emma and Chloe. Predeceased by his wife Joan(Rice) Glenister(2002) and his sisters Bonnie Nunn(2003) and Gloria Fell(2000). Born on April 26, 1942, son of the late Gordon and Clara (Willsey) Glenister. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 5-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
