Suddenly, on Sunday, November 20, 2022, in Boca Raton, Florida. Beloved wife of Elliot Godel for sixty-three years. Cherished mother and mother-in-law of Cheryl and Doug Sherman, Alan and Lisa Godel, Gail and Martin Bergman, Julie and Rodney Bergman. Adoring “Gramma” of Amy and Harrison Minz, Lesley Sherman; Tyler, Ethan and Owen Godel; Stephanie and Ari Bradwein, Lauren and Amanda Bergman; Jason, Alyssa and Maya Bergman. Loving “Great-Gramma” of Ahuva and Yocheved. Devoted sister of the late Stephen Wener; and dear sister-in-law of Bonnie Wener Swartz, Morris (Nassie) and Raylene Godel, Deanna and the late Sydney Godel. Marilyn will be deeply missed by her nieces, nephews, family, and many friends. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Thursday, November 24 at 12:00 noon.
