Obituary of Royal Fournier
Après une brève maladie à l’Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury le dimanche 20 novembre 2022, Roy Fournier de Dalkeith est décédé à l’âge de 80 ans. Ses parents Émile Fournier et Alice Lalonde l’ont précédé dans la tombe. Époux bien-aimé de Huguette (née Ladouceur). Fier et aimant père de Mario et Natalie Fournier (Robert Martin). Grand-père bien-aimé de Léanie et Alexi. Cher frère de Roch Fournier, Nicole Fournier et Micheline Fournier (Pierre Leduc). Prédécédé par ses frères Gaston et Yvon et sa sœur Odette. Beau-frère affectueux d’Evelyne Auger et d’Ernest Ladouceur. Lui survivent également plusieurs neveux et nièces. Vous pouviez souvent voir Roy conduire dans la campagne et s’arrêter dans ses endroits préférés pour prendre un café et discuter avec quelqu’un. Son grand sourire va nous manquer.
La famille invite parents et amis au Salon Funéraire Hillcrest 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill le samedi 26 novembre 2022 de 9h30 à 10h45, suivi d’une messe de funérailles chrétiennes à l’église catholique St Grégoire 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill. Inhumation au cimetière St Grégoire, Vankleek Hill. À la mémoire de Roy, un don à la Fondation de l’Hôpital Général de Hawkesbury ou à une œuvre de charité de votre choix serait apprécié par la famille.

After a brief illness at the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Sunday, November 20,2022 Roy Fournier of Dalkeith passed away at the age of 80. Predeceased by his parents Émile Fournier and Alice Lalonde. Beloved husband of Huguette (nee Ladouceur). Proud and loving father of Mario and Natalie Fournier (Robert Martin). Dearly loved Grandpapa of Léanie and Alexi. Dear brother of Roch Fournier, Nicole Fournier, and Micheline Fournier (Pierre Leduc). Predeceased by his brothers Gaston and Yvon and his sister Odette. Fond brother-in-law of Evelyne Auger and Ernest Ladouceur. Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews.
You could often see Roy driving around the countryside and stopping into his favourite places to have a coffee and chat with someone. We will miss his big smile.
Family and friends may visit at Hillcrest Funeral Home 151 Bond Street, Vankleek Hill on Saturday, November 26,2022 from 9:30 am to 10:45 am followed by a Mass of Christian Funeral at St Grégoire Catholic Church 137 Higginson Street, Vankleek Hill.Interment St Gregoire Cemetery, Vankleek Hill.
