Rene Lamontagne April 1 1934November 13 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rene, age 88, at St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, on November 13, 2022.
Rene leaves to mourn his passing his son Danny. He was predeceased by his wife Ivy and his son Kenny.
Rene was born in Saskatchewan and later moved to Winnipeg. He married his wife, Ivy, and together they had two sons.
His life’s work consisted of many jobs. He worked as a mechanic and had a love of building things such as telescopes. He put together a Heath Kit television, assembling all the parts himself. It was the first colour television on their block. Later he worked at the Winnipeg Convention Centre and the Manitoba Liquor Commission, where he installed the software for their security system, and later retired.
He led a full and happy life. His family was very important to him, with Ivy being the love of his life, and his sons being his pride and joy. He will be sadly missed by his son Danny and his surviving relatives.
According to his wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will be held.
