Obituary of Darryel R. McCurdy
McCurdy Darryel – At the Charlotte County Hospital, on Tuesday, November 8th, 2022; Darryel Robert McCurdy, husband of Betty Louise Neilsen of Oak Bay, NB. Born in Rolling Dam, NB, he is the son of the late Norman & Norma (Bell) McCurdy.
He is survived by his wife Betty, his son Norman (Natasha) of Oak Bay – Fredericton, NB, 2 daughters Berla & Louise (Kenneth Benson Dillabough), both of Ontario, 2 brothers John of Scotch Ridge, NB and Donnie of St. George, NB, one sister Berla of Sus, NB, 2 grandsons Kenneth James Dillabough, Jethro Williams Dillabough, nieces, nephews and cousins. Darryel was predeceased by his brother Jimmy.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home during a time of visitation on Monday, November 14th from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Cremation will take place.
The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 16th, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the chapel of Humphreys Funeral Home, 20 Marks Street, St. Stephen, NB E3L 2B2 (506 – 466 – 3110). The interment will follow in St. Stephen Rural Cemetery.
