We are heartbroken to announce the accidental death of Catherine Lewis on Wednesday January 12, 2022. Catherine Lewis of Belleville and formerly of Pembroke is the beloved mother of Abby Schonnop and Zachary Schonnop. She will be sadly missed by her father Terry Lewis (Juliet) and predeceased by her mother Judith Lewis (nee Donohue) and her companion Troy Luloff and his children Hannah and Kayleigh Luloff. Dear sister of Michael Lewis (Lisa) of Toronto and her nephew Joshua and niece to Jean Montgomery (Bob).
Cathy was a nurse for 21 years. She served in the Maternity Ward at the Pembroke Regional Hospital for 19 years then finished her course in Palliative Care in Belleville.
Friends are invited to share their memories of Cathy with her family during visitation at the Murphy Funeral Home 296 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Wednesday January 26th from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. followed by Prayers in the Chapel at 3:00 p.m.
COVID PROTOCOLS ARE IN PLACE NUMBERS ARE LIMITED FOR VISITATION AND FUNERAL. PLEASE RSVP AT murphyfuneralhome.ca OR CALL 613-735-5711, TO BOOK A RESERVATION. MASKS MUST BE WORN IN THE FUNERAL HOME AND SOCIAL DISTANCING OBSERVED.
Final interment in Stirling Ontario in the spring.
In memory of Cathy, donations can be made to her children’s education fund by cheque at the Funeral Home.
