Obituary
Ann Morabito passed away peacefully at Mount Cartier Court, with her family at her side on Friday, October 28th, 2022, at the age of 69 years. There will be a graveside interment of Ann’s cremated remains at Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke on Saturday, November 5th, 2022, at 11:30 a.m., followed by a reception in the Begbie Room at The Regent Inn.
Ann was born in Wieringen, Holland on December 13, 1952, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since she was a child. She enjoyed curling and was an avid kayaker. Ann especially loved to cook and bake for her children and grandchildren.
Ann was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1995, father-in-law Bruno Morabito in 1995, mother-in-law Vittoria Morabito in 1999 and her father Oeds de Jager in 2018. She is survived by three children: John Morabito (Tara Peach) of Revelstoke, Brad Morabito of Revelstoke and Megan (Jeff) Lund of Revelstoke; five grandchildren: Loren, Olivia, Molly, Ava and Lincoln; her mother Tina de Jager; siblings: John (Lynn), Kathy (Jeff), Barry, Danny (Steph) and Teresa (Doug); in-laws: Tony (Ila) Morabito, Frank (Susan) Morabito, Mary (Mike) Makara and Stino Morabito (Deani Hascarl), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
