BAKER (NEE HEALY), Kathleen Myrtle
1935 – 2022
Peacefully at the Val-des-Sources Hospital, with family by her side, on October 29, 2022.
Dearly beloved wife of the late Michael Baker, loving mother of Laura (Albert Ohayon), Dwight (Marielle Frechette) and Carol (Donald Crummey); proud grandmother of Simon (Sanu) Ohayon, Amy (Emanuel) and Alyson (Robin) Hayes, Maranda (Steven) and Camden Banfill and her grandson Remy Ohayon.
Kathleen also leaves to mourn her sister-in-law Harriet (the late Ken Healy), sister Dorothy (the late Ronald Evans) and brothers Donald (Esther) and Robert (the late Nancy) Healy. Kathleen was predeceased by parents Bertha (nee Fowler) and Harvey Healy, and her sisters Mable, Helen and Margaret.
Visitation will be held at the Danville-Val-des-Sources Trinity United Church, 43, Grove Street, Danville, on Saturday, November 5 from 1 to 3 p.m. followed by a celebration of Kathleen’s life at 3 p.m. Internment in the Danville Protestant Cemetery to follow.

Kathleen’s family would like to thank Gaetan, Steve and the staff at La Residence Louis D’Or for compassionate care they provided during her stay. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Palliative Care Team at the Val-des-Sources Hospital for their excellent and heartfelt care during Kathleen’s final days.
