Obituary of Bernie Thorne
Thorne, Bernard Leo “Chip”- Peacefully passed in the presence of his family, at his home in Acton, on Friday January 21, 2022. Bernie “Chip” in his 78th year, beloved husband of Donna (nee Haynes) for the past 54 years. Loving father of Cindy (John Lantz), Shelley (Steve Sharples) and Shawn. Proud Poppa of Jacob, Joshua, Lindsay, Amanda, Jaymie, Matthew and Mya. Dear brother of Berneta Miller, Byron (Linda) Thorne, the late Barbara Thorne and the late Blaine Thorne. Chip will be dearly missed by his fur baby Bella, his many friends and family. The family would like to sincerely thank his nurse Lisa Zablotny and Dr. Carson for all their care and support. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In memory of Chip, donations to the Parkinson Society or the Leukemia Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
