Passed away October 25, 2022, unexpectedly at home, Edward George Kennell. He was 75 years of age. Ed was predeceased by his beloved wife Jackie (2011), his mother Vivian (2021) and father Mercer (1999).
He leaves to mourn his daughter: Vivian (Greg), son, Steven (Gina), grandchildren: James, Billy, Jarret; and great-grandchildren: Daxton and Melody. He also leaves his brothers: Ernest (Jan) and Wayne (Kim), and sister, Marilyn (Gary). Ed was also dearly loved by his many nieces and nephews.
Ed was born May 25, 1947 and was the eldest of four siblings. He moved to Ontario in 1965 at the age of 18 along with his wife Jackie and the two of them set about forging a life and raising a family. Even though Ed lived and worked in Ontario for 43 years, his heart was always in Buchans and after he retired from Windsor Wafers in 2009, Ed and Jackie were finally able to move home. Ed had a wonderful sense of humor and a generous spirit and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Cremation has taken with service details to follow.
