Marg Campbell Wednesday January 19th 2022

Hilda Marguerite Campbell (nee Loveless)
With heavy hearts, we said goodbye to Marg (Mom, Grandma, GG) on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, in her 91st year who passed peacefully at her home in Orangeville with family by her side. She was predeceased by her loving husband Howard (Air Canada ret’d) in 2013.
She is survived by her family of 4 children, Hugh (Debbie), Susan (Rob) Best, Rod (Marion) and Richard (Ellen), 8 grandchildren, Melanie (Johann), Adam (Vanessa), Emily (Alex), Maggie, Kate (Dave), Abby (Corey), Erin and Noah and 13 great grandchildren, Charlie, Dahlia, Camille, Lucas, Lenox, Sullivan, Tilly, Lucy, Ava, Claire, Maisie, June, and Annie.
Marg was born July 27,1931 and grew up on farms in Scarborough and St. George and attended Nursing College in Brantford. Marg and Howard were married for over 60 years and raised their family in Milton and Brampton. Marg was a dedicated mother and homemaker who also worked part time as a nurse.
Soon after retirement they moved to Elmvale where they treasured looking after a small hobby farm returning to their roots and sharing time with good friends on the local farms. Howie and Marg then moved to Orangeville to be closer to their daughter Susan, who has been a tireless and loving caregiver to whom we are all very thankful.
Throughout their life Marg and Howie travelled extensively (mostly by truck) throughout Canada and the USA. More recently Marg looked forward and thoroughly enjoyed several trips with her entire family to a number of Caribbean locations. Her final trip was last Fall with her 4 children on the Rocky Mountaineer train which was a very memorable and enjoyable journey.
She will be remembered as a kind and loving soul who was dedicated to her family. She cherished the continuous visits with children and grandchildren, but most precious to her were her great grand children or little people as she fondly referred to them.
We know you are now with Dad and proudly telling him all about the amazing legacy of little people that he never had a chance to meet.
A special thank you to daughter Susan and compassionate caregiver Wendy who have tirelessly cared for Mom over the past few weeks and allowed her wish to remain at her home until the end.
A Private Family Service and Interment will take place later in the Spring.
A tree will be planted in memory of Marg in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
