Obituary
On the morning of October 12, 2022 surrounded by and with love from her daughters, our beautiful Jo-Ann passed away peacefully, gaining her wings and flying finally free of pain.
She was born Jo-Ann Elizabeth Gilbert on May 11th, 1957 and she spent her life loving and laughing with entirety, and dishing out empathy and compassion freely and without hesitation.
Jo-Ann welcomed everyone and anyone into her home, if you were hungry you were fed, if you were tired you were offered a place to rest, if ALL you needed was a shoulder cry she was more than happy to oblige, to know her was to love her and to hug her meant you never wanted to let her go.
Jo-Ann will forever be loved and sorely missed by her three daughters Denise (Caleb), Jacqueline (Todd), and Roberta (Jody), fourteen wonderful grandchildren, Jordan, Joshua, Braiden, Jenna, Jessa, Liam, Caleb, Mckenzie, Devon, Julia, Jaxcen, Mia, Abigayle, Presley and one extra special great grandson Dillinger as well as her three sisters Gerry (Gordon), Lenora (Jim) and Sandy (Les), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and honorary children.
Jo-Ann was predeceased by her parents Leonard (2006) and Elaine (2022) as well as one brother in law Les (2021) one niece Stacey (2013) and a special friend Kelley (2017).
Jo-Ann’s family would like to send a special thank you to all who knew and loved Jo, she loved you with her whole heart and would want you to go forward, give freely, love openly and laugh always.
