It is with sadness we, the family, announce the passing of Kevin MacDougall, 66, on Thursday, October 6, 2022.
Born in New Waterford, he is the son of Marjorie (O’Brien) and the late Alphonse MacDougall.
Kevin was a Social Worker who was passionate about helping others in need. He loved to travel and be with his dog, Dougall. He was very attentive to his nieces and nephews and in turn, they respected and loved their uncle
Surviving are is mother, Marjorie; brother, Brian (Sharon), Bedford; sisters, Arlene (Bruce) Burton, Margaree Valley, Cindy (Frank) Selvet, Coxheath, Mona Kearney, Sydney and Shirley MacDougall, New Waterford; many nieces and nephews.
Besides his father, Kevin was predeceased by a brother, Glen.
Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2022 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at 11 a.m. all in V.J. McGillivray Funeral Home Chapel, 380 Smith Street, New Waterford with Deacon Lorne MacNeil officiating. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery with a luncheon to follow at the Knights of Columbus Hall, New Waterford. Donations in his memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
