Alfred John Hasting, Jr. – age 89 of Knoxville passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. Of the Christian faith. Retired from the Dupont Corporation after 25 years of service.
Preceded in death by wife of 25 years, Glenna Jean Britt Hastings; wife of 43 years, Valerie Maude Barrett Hastings; parents, Alfred John Hastings, Sr. and Olive L. Greensides Hastings; brothers, William Kirk Hastings, Carlton Philip Hastings, Henry Hastings; sisters, Joyce Brown and Helen Sanger; and grandson, Randy Hastings.
Survived by sons, Alfred John Hastings III, Darryl Hastings, Philip Hastings, and David Hastings; daughter, Andrea Ramos; brothers, James, Richard, Edward and Glenn Hastings; sisters, Ada Griffis, Katherine Nelson, Bernice Kapple, Judith Jones, and Susan Lawrence; 13 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
